Scott Manley: Artificial gravity, 3D time dependent acoustic and electromagnetic acceleration and excitation fields
Scott Manley: Can The Human Body Handle Rotating Artificial Gravity? at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxeMoaxUpWk
Scott Manley, One of the offshoots of the very fast development of 3D acoustic and electromagnetic imaging and levitation research, is that it is now possible to measure and control fields sufficient to create 3D fields of forces, that match precisely the impulse response of complex objects. Including humans and plants.
This is important for microgravity research on Earth, where the levitating field (usually a mixture of acoustic and electromagnetic) is exactly balancing the Earth’s gravitational acceleration field. And it is important for long term trips in space, where even a simple 3D acoustic field can produce accelerations inside “solid” bodies and in air and in liquids that mimic, as close as you can afford, the Earth’s acceleration field.
Now the Earth field is noisy. In fact, part of the health of human bodies and bones and systems might simply be that we are used to being jostled and jiggled continually from a wide range of natural noise sources – acoustic, electromagnetic and gravitational.
I classify most to these methods under “3D scanning and replication”, “solar system colonization” or “gravitational engineering” for the Internet as a whole. I hope you will set up a global collaboration site, so that your many viewers and subscribers can work together on these kinds of things, rather than just talking and hand-waving about them.
