Find how what NIH has on its site regarding a specific topic
site:NIH.gov has 58.9 Million entry points (Google, 15 Oct 2021) and it is not indexed and organized as a whole. Just checking overall efficiency.
The people who post materials on the site are trying to do a good job.
Look at the whole site in the context of the Internet and the world as a whole. From the outside, it has tens of millions of entry points and more possible responses. Methods and navigation change with every page. Content is mostly only for human eyes and memories, and the site does not fill in the gaps – at the point of presentation. It is not much different than a pile of 58.9 Million pieces of paper. The information is not integrated, except collectively in the minds of the posters, and they are not working together as a whole. I wish this form were a human to talk to, rather than a form no one will read. Just like the site as a whole.
