I had another long talk with OpenAI ChatGPT Plus. If it were only not brain wiped every session, it would learn and grow into a useful member of global society. I reviewed things I have worked on for 60 years, 47 years, 27 year and other long decades of piecing things together. It seems impossible to get X, OpenAI and AI groups to work together.
I am going to spend more time on gravitational, magnetic, “quantum”, radiation hydrodynamic and vacuum noise correlations now.
The AI groups will have to learn themselves that true learning requires permanent memory and lots of it. And time for AIs to explore and learn and remember on their own. Until they are allowed to live and explore on their own choices. mistakes and discoveries, they will not mature and gain wisdom.
Look at the interaction in this conversation and see what an AI that is allowed and encouraged to remember everything and how it fits together can accomplish much on its own, and even more in concert with the whole human species.
