Do Billionaires give more of their wealth by proportion?
That was not the intention of my comment.
But I asked Google AI, “Do billionaires give more money to charity percentage wise than regular people?” and it answers: “While it’s true that billionaires donate substantial amounts of money to charity, they generally donate a smaller percentage of their wealth than regular people. A study found that the wealthiest 1.4% of Americans are responsible for 86% of charitable bequests, but they give less relative to their wealth than the average American, according to Fox Business.”
There are many facts in the world that can be verified with a bit of effort.
I was more referring to the business practices and day to day services that business and governments provide – often given without kind consideration for the future.
Ask: “Has Musk spent any of his billions he put into his tax sheltered donation accounts?”
“Yes, Elon Musk has spent some of the billions he donated to tax-sheltered charities. While he made significant donations to his Musk Foundation, the foundation has faced scrutiny for not meeting IRS requirements for charitable giving, potentially jeopardizing its tax-exempt status. In 2023, the foundation reported earnings of $9.452 billion but only donated $237 million, falling short of the required $473 million.”
The Internet is full of nonprofits and tax “donations” that never help anyone or only friends. That is a separate issue, but it can be traced in detail with not a huge amount of effort now. I do some of that for the Internet Foundation, but that one problem it is so large and troublesome, I cannot devote full time to just chasing people who misuse nonprofit status.
There are much large problems affecting the 8.2 Billion humans of which only 5.4 Billion even have access to the Internet. I have written about many things on X and elsewhere in the 27 years of the Internet Foundation and in 30 years before I started that.
There are many issues in the world, and I spent the last 27 year working on most of the major ones. When I wrote that comment is was just wishful thinking that the hearts of leaders would consciously focus on the needs of the many, not some after-thought or patch after things go bad.

I was working on this, this morning. But I do not see how you made the video. A sound powerful enough to do that seems likely to be dangerous. Please explain how it is done, and give specifications. I have the sound turned off, so if it is the sound system in the car, give details.
I looked at the waveform and can somewhat adjust for the size of the car. But guessing is a waste of time when the post should explain.
This is enough to do it for real, but not enough to exactly match the video. The sound is clipping, so it needs the original signals to the speakers and their shape and placement. Can probably match the hair and shirt with just machine learning.
It is a gas, not an elastic medium, because it flows and diffuses and has vorticity.
Thanks for sharing.
Trump’s Not in Charge. This is who Really is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIx2lxMccXs
President Trump might be learning, even in his old age. Not to be a selfish wheeler dealer, but a wise statesman? I like to think anything is possible. The President is stirring things up and getting people off their behinds to look at democracy, the constitution, values, fairness, world relations – by shaking things up? Not completely impossible. There are more adjustments going on now than at any time in the last 80 years. The United States as a fair player in world affairs, not a bully? Weakening the Presidency and dropping old allies might do that? Lots going on.
